The Inn
Jason and Sarah welcome you to The Inn
Hornchurch's very own Club Tropicana.
Where the ceiling's covered in beer mats and the taps still get a proper pull.
A pub of one's own
Not a theme park. Not a man-cave catalogue. Just a proper little inn, built for friends, family, and the odd late one.
Jason and Sarah built The Inn the old-fashioned way — Plywood, mahogany stain, a worrying amount of enthusiasm, and absolutely no involvement from an interior designer.
There are proper hand pulls, optics on the gantry, supermarket spirit offers, and enough glassware hanging from the beams to suggest we may have a licensing problem.
Welcome to Hornchurch’s very own Club Tropicana — there’s enough for everyone! 🍻
Theakston Dark Mild on the pump.
Because apparently we’re running a pub now.
The ceiling tells the rest of the story.
Every beer mat has been carefully collected, allegedly.
Every glass paid for, original contents that is.
Each tankard hanging overhead has poured something worth remembering — or at least something someone can no longer remember.
Nothing matches. Everything has a story. And if there’s an empty bit of wall, shelf, beam or ceiling, frankly, that’s just wasted pub space.
It’s maximalist on purpose — warm, lived-in, slightly wonky and proudly lacking anything remotely resembling a minimalist aesthetic.
A proper little boozer, built with love, questionable DIY skills and the firm belief that you can never have too much glassware.
The bar is stocked. The optics are full. The mild is on.
All that’s missing is the landlords…
What's on
The board that matters — led by a proper Yorkshire dark mild.
Inside the Inn
Beer mats overhead, tankards on the beams, Twinkly lights for atmosphere and hide the carpet stains.

House rules
Posted for comic effect. Enforced with a raised eyebrow.
Mind the tankards
They're decorative until they aren't. Not YMCA friendly.
Bring a story
Or at least a good moan about the weather. Either works.
Leave the mats
The ceiling collection is closed. Your coaster stays on the bar.
